![]() ![]() I beat it in 15 hours on my first playthrough (Standard difficulty), but so much of it has to do with the time I spent reading the Book of Rites, interacting with Sandra (one of my favorite characters) and actually paying attention to every word and weighing all my options. Transistors are an amazing piece of technology that made millions of other inventions happen The first transistor was made in 1947 at a place called Bell Laboratories by William Shockley, John Bardeen and Walter Brattain. But, when it comes to Pyre, the extended lengh is due not only to the story, but also to the reading involved and to the gameplay style, I believe. ![]() Transistor is, for me, on another level (it's a matter of personal preference, that's all.), so although it's short and usually takes me 4-5 hours to beat the game - 7 in my first playthrough, cause like I said, I like to take my time - I have 35 invested in it only in online Steam hours (I've played it offline often and beat it on PS4 once), so I guess the lengh doesn't really affect me!? Plus, I had a blast and took some time (admitedly not too much) to complete all the Steam achievements. I'd say they're very satisfactory, even Bastion and Transistor. Considering I always take my time with story driven games. ![]()
